September Wine Class: A Season to Riesling
Riesling has gotten a rap for always being sweet but truthfully is one of the most exciting wines to pair with food. From bone dry to sweet (and everything in between), it’s no wonder this white pairs beautifully with anything from spicy Thai food to rich pork dishes to decadent and delicious desserts.
In this class we will taste Rieslings from Germany, Austria, the United States and Australia to see how the grape has traveled the world. We will also review basics of German and Austrian wine law so guests will always look like a pro when ordering Riesling from a restaurant wine list.
