Our Wine Program
About Our Wine Program
For all of us at Zero George, attention to detail reigns supreme. Just as with our food and cocktails, we select wines made with passion. Whether a wine is made according to historical tradition or intrepid innovation, all of the wines that make our list aren’t just beverages, they are stories. The love of a vintner for their craft mirrors our own. That’s why, when we curated our award winning Wine Spectator list, we wanted it to reflect both the most iconic estates in the world as well as up and coming young winemakers hungry to shape the world of wine. We explore the world with a focus on precision, organic farming, and legacies of greatness. From classified growths of Bordeaux, to family-owned wineries from Napa Valley, to curious whites from Italy and Greece; we invite you to indulge in and savor wine as we do: whole-heartedly.
Restaurant Manager and Head Sommelier
Our restaurant manager and head sommelier, Ashley Broshious, is not only the only female Advanced Sommelier in the Carolinas and Georgia, but one of just six Advanced Somms in South Carolina. Ashley’s title is not just for show – her expertise on all things wine sets the foundation for a truly memorable Zero Restaurant experience. Following deliberation and selection by Ashley, these specifically selected wines are meticulously matched with Executive Chef Vinson Petrillo’s exquisite culinary pairings to make for a luxurious wining-and-dining experience.
Monthly Wine Seminars
Broshious leads monthly wine classes and seminars on various topics. From “Holiday Traditions” to “Demystifying Restaurant Wine Lists” and “Somm Day School: From Popping Champagne to Blind Tasting,” each class is built for those with wine knowledge of all levels. Limited to 10 guests per class, classes are interactive and intimate; guests are encouraged to ask questions and engage in a conversational classroom-style seminar. During the seminar, guests sample wines, and enjoy a variety of small snacks from Executive Chef Vinson Petrillo.
