Meet Megan Mina, our Beverage Director

Cheers & Happy National Wine Day!

To celebrate, we’re highlighting our Beverage Director Megan Mina, and we invite you to join her for wine classes.

Meet Beverage Director Megan Mina

At Zero George, just as with our food, we select wines made with passion. Whether a wine is made according to historical tradition or intrepid innovation, all of the wines that make our list aren’t just beverages, they are stories. That’s why, when we curated our award-winning Wine Spectator list, we wanted it to reflect both the most iconic estates in the world and up-and-coming young winemakers vying to shape the world of wine. From classified growths of Bordeaux, to family-owned wineries from Napa Valley, to curious whites from Italy and Greece; we invite you to indulge in and savor wine as we do: whole-heartedly.

Wine is our not-so-secret ingredient that ties every meal together. And, Beverage Director Megan Mina is one of our secret weapons. She’s the Oz behind the curtain (or bar), crafting exceptional guest experiences through the wizardry of wine & cocktails. With twenty years of experience at restaurants including Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Carbone, Cafe Alto Paradiso, and Charlie Bird, we are excited to have her migrate south and lead the team at Zero. “Wine is a universal language, a way to connect with our guests. It encompasses everything – culture, history, science, agriculture, and of course food,” shares Megan.

As she notes, Zero George’s fare offers guests an unforgettable culinary experience. Megan and the Beverage Team specially curate wines to pair with our ever-changing Tasting Menu, ensuring a distinctive and memorable wining-and-dining experience each time you visit us. We hope you’ll say hello to Megan on your next visit, and allow her and the beverage team to delight your palate – as she says: “No one is ever mad at the one who brings wine to the table!”
