Guest Chef Shaun O’Neale Cooking Class
We are pleased to welcome MasterChef winner and recent published author of the “My Modern American Table” cookbook, Chef Shaun O’Neale to Zero Restaurant + Bar on Sunday, January 21st from 12 – 2 pm for a cooking class that will surely spice up your weekend. You can pick up a copy of his book anywhere books are sold, or get one from the MasterChef himself at our cooking class.
Chef O’Neale was crowned MasterChef of season 7 and set a record for his number of individual wins. His skills stretch far beyond the kitchen though, Chef O’Neale is also a master with music. He has DJe’d in Florida and was the first DJ to ever spin for the New Year Celebration on Las Vegas Blvd. in front of more than 10,000 people.
For this cooking class, the menu will focus on seafood, as guests dig into the main course of squid ink and lobster ravioli. Chef O’Neale describes it as “an upscale spin on a recipe from my cookbook, I have added squid ink to turn the pasta tuxedo black to create something visually stunning on the plate.” You won’t want to miss dessert either. Chef O’Neale says “For dessert, I am thinking of doing a dish called the Panna Cotta Berry Garden. It is a white chocolate panna cotta coated with a berry coulis and topped with a chocolate caramel soil and fresh berries.”
