December Wine Class ~ European Vacation: Holiday Traditions From the Old World
Just in time for the holidays, join us for our December wine class as we explore traditions from all over Europe! From Champagne to Vin Santo we will match traditional holiday treats with their wines and share stories of how they came about. The best part? You can bring some wonderful new wines (and knowledge!) to your holiday celebrations and start new traditions of your own.
Zero Restaurant + Bar was awarded the 2019 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for its outstanding wine programing. Classes are led by Ashley Broshious, the only female Advanced Sommelier in the Carolinas and Georgia – and, just one of six Advanced Somms in South Carolina.
Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th 2019
12:00 – 1:30 PM
$125 per person.
Please note this class is part of our reserve series as it includes higher quality wines.
There are a limited number of tickets (10 per seminar) to keep the discussions interactive and intimate; guests are encouraged to ask questions and engage in a conversational classroom-style seminar.
About Zero George’s Wine Program
For all of us at Zero George, attention to detail reigns supreme. Just as with our food and cocktails, we select wines made with passion. Whether a wine is made according to historical tradition or intrepid innovation, all of the wines that make our list aren’t just beverages, they are stories. The love of a vintner for their craft mirrors our own. That’s why, when we curated our list, we wanted it to reflect both the most iconic estates in the world as well as up and coming young winemakers hungry to shape the world of wine. We explore the world with a focus on precision, organic farming, and legacies of greatness. From classified growths of Bordeaux, to family-owned wineries from Napa Valley, to curious whites from Italy and Greece; we invite you to indulge in and savor wine as we do: whole-heartedly.
